This page is dedicated to a special place which is sacred to all Punjabi' s. To me this place is very unique and beutiful. The place I am writing about is Punjab; the land of five rivers!

Punjab is an important border state of India. In the North is Jammu and Kashmir, in the South Haryana and Rajasthan, in the West a boundary with Pakistan and in the East is Himachal Pradesh.

We all know the meaning of Punjab, the land of five rivers which are; the Beas, the Sutlej, the Ravi, the Chenab and the Jhelum.

Punjab is also known for its small scale industries. Punjab produces 80% of the country' s woollen hoisery. LUDHIANA which is the center of the woollen goods in India is very well known for its growing industry.

Other than the woollen hoisery goods, Ludhiana also incorporates many other businesses from mechanics to jewellers. The KHERA AND SONS WORKS in Jagraon, Ludhiana is our family run, small but humble business.
